First-Time Moms

Welcome to new mamahood! You’re so glad your baby is here — and your life is forever changed. You’ve got mile-high emotions ranging from joy to panic, and everything in between. You’ve got a zillion questions. And we’ve got you covered! 

Our groups offer a haven of support and friendship while you access important developmental information about your baby, and about your always changing role as a mom. 

Bonus: With our expertise in having helped hundreds of thousands of tired families with their child’s sleep, we’ll make sure that your little one snoozes like a champ!

  • FORMAT: Each 90-minute class begins with general questions and connect time, followed by our topic for the week and discussion. Class ends with singing and developmental play for the babies. Groups meet in person outdoors, each mom and baby on their own blanket.

    AGE: Newborn to toddler years (children are grouped together in 2-3 month intervals)

    DURATION: Renewable 8-week sessions until babies are 12 to 15 months

    • Sleep

    • Nurturing healthy attachment

    • Feeding (breast, bottle and solids)

    • Baby-proofing your couple relationship

    • Work and identity changes

    • Development and play

    • Caregivers

Second-Time Moms

(and moms of three and four)

Welcome to mamahood with two, three or more! You’ve just welcomed another new baby, and life is happy chaos. How do you get your baby to sleep and feed well, while also tending to your older child’s big feelings — and the behavior that matches? We’ll help you find your groove!

  • FORMAT: Each 90-minute class begins with general questions and connect time, followed by our topic for the week and discussion. Class ends with singing and developmental play for the babies. Groups meet in person outdoors, each mom and baby on their own blanket.

    AGE: Newborn to toddler years (children are grouped together in 2-3 month intervals)

    • Balancing multiple needs of family and self

    • Helping your older child adjust to new sibling

    • Older child behavior

Evening Groups

Evening classes are designed for working parents or those who prefer to meet after hours, and may include parents of babies, toddlers and / or older children. Attendees are grouped with other parents who have children of similar ages.

  • FORMAT: Each 90-minute class begins with general questions and connect time, followed by either a topic or open discussion of current questions and challenges. Groups meet in person indoors or outdoors, depending on each group’s preferences, at a private home.

    AGE: Babies, toddlers, and / or older children - depending on the makeup of each group

    DURATION: Renewable 6-class sessions; groups meet once per month

    TOPICS INCLUDE

    • Balancing multiple needs of family and self

    • Child behavior

    • Kids, families + technology

    • Challenges with peers and friendships / social aggression

    • Sibling conflict

    • Teaching self-regulation and executive function skills to kids
