About the founders
Jill Spivack, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist and pediatric sleep consultant who earned her masters degree at the University of Southern California and completed a post-graduate fellowship as a family therapist at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Prior to co-founding Sleepy Planet Parenting in Los Angeles, Jill worked as a couples and family therapist and group leader at the Soho Parenting Center in New York City. Jill currently meets with parents in her private practice and in groups to help them to raise their children with love, consciousness and clarity. Jill lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two children and her awesome dog.
Jennifer Waldburger, MSW, earned her master's degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she contributed to research with the Mayo Clinic. Jennifer has been working with children and families for 23 years, offering private sessions and classes that incorporate mindfulness and holistic practices gathered over two decades of study on these subjects. She is co-director of the Mindfulness program at several schools in Los Angeles, and is certified in the trauma resiliency model CRM. Jennifer's passion is to help families to create a loving, peaceful environment in which both kids and parents can thrive.
Co-creators of the award-winning book and DVD The Sleepeasy Solution, Jill and Jennifer have been featured in a wide variety of media, including Good Morning America, the Today show, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, CBS Evening News, the Chicago Tribune, People, Variety, Parenting, Fit Pregnancy, and the Hollywood Reporter. They are consultants for the hit TV show "The Pajanimals," a joint production with the Jim Henson Company and PBS Sprout.
About our associate
Randi Singer, MA, LMFT, completed her graduate work at the University of Houston and Pacific Graduate School. Over the last 20 years, she has worked with clients and families at the VA and Didi Hirsch, as well as in private practice as a psychotherapist. Randi helped her two children learn how to be wonderful sleepers, and now greatly enjoys helping other parents and families get the rest they need as well.
